A silent and lonely Kenku Monk mourning the loss of both his arms

Hush is a Kenku Monk who is almost silent after dealing with years of loneliness and the loss of both of his arms.
 
Hush was born in an unknown environment and left by his birth parents to be found by a family of Aarakocras and raised by them. Growing up in Thrasek, Hush was the only Kenku amongst a race of Aarakocra. Struggling to mimic the language of common he was given the name Hush and though the south of the island accepted hush, the north side were disgusted by him.
 
Thrasek was separated in the middle by a line of mountains creating and north and south side with only a cavern in the middle to connect the two. Each side of the island pitted war against each other and during this war Hush and a group of men were captured and killed including his adopted father. However, because of the north sides hatred for Kenkus, Hush was taken to the leader of the north. Their leader was known as Arrk the Blood-Feaster, known as the most bloodthirsty Aarakocra to set sail to the sea leading his army only by fear. The taste of blood seemed to enrage his every bone and yet delight his appetite and so he found every chance to devour his enemies with claws sharp enough to tear through armour the flesh of anyone who he saw as weak. Arrk saw Hush's capture as a chance to strike fear into the south and strung him onto the sails of his ship. With 2 swift strikes he dismembered Hush leaving him to fall into the sea painting it red with his blood never to be seen again. His almost lifeless body floated in the sea with his last breaths holding on purely by willpower until he was found by a Tortle Cleric Monk named Gar.
 
On this abandoned island, Gar nursed him back to health and showed him how his inner Ki kept him alive for so long. Gar soon left Hush unexpectedly on the island alone with a collection of ancient texts written for him on how to harness the power of his Ki. This left Hush alone training in the ways of a monk yearning to explore the world that he has been so isolated from. What he learnt most of all was patience having to survive without the use of his arms or claws.
 
In the past 5 years every morning on the island Hush woke up the same, until one morning a gift mysteriously appeared along with a note. The gift was a pair of rusted, metal prosthetic arms with the note reading "See this gift as a helpful tool but do not rely on them. Your power comes from within, don't search for it, be patient and it will come to you. - Gar". Once fitted, these new arms allowed Hush to swim to a passing ship of a pirate clan and sneak aboard.
 
The ship took him to the island of Vester and left him in the city of Veritas. Hooded and broke, Hush was ready to explore the city helping anyone along his way. One day he may return home once he is ready, but for now he must find meaning in his life
