Yelyzaveta "Bess" Konevod was born in 173 IE into a family of horse breeders.
 
Rumours within Roventa know her to be have previously been closely allied with the infamous Highwayman Martin Mravec whom she'd been spied riding with on occasion.
 
This interaction led her to her capture in 193 IE by Reichguard forces tasked with hunting down Martin Mravec. Witnesses mention Konevod being taken by her maternal grandmother, Baba Konevod, from the house after the sound of gun fire. Martin Mravec was seen fleeing from the scene and reported dead by Reichguard officials the following day on the outskirts of Roventa.
 
Little is known of Yelyzaveta's history after she disappeared into the forests of Chegorsk. She was presumed dead until her reappearance following the Battle of Roventa.
Subsequently she seized power in 201 IE by challenging Earl Chernov in one on one combat. She then named war-bride Maria Konevod (neé Teybar) her countess.
