Matahari hardly remembers her parents at all. She briefly remembers their faces, but that's about it. After living off the land and stealing as she went, a group of thieves took her under their wing. They trained her to be adept at stealing and sneaking. She stayed with them for several years before deciding to adventure on her own. The group of thieves disowned her after she decided to leave. After leaving them she worked several small jobs and stole plenty along the way. She began to miss having a group to work with, but she knew her old group would never take her back. One day, she seen a flyer promising great adventure. She was desperate enough to follow the directions on the flyer, and was led to Vlad's new group.

Education

She only knows what the group of thieves taught her, so nothing too strenuous. They mostly taught her how to be a better thief.

Employment

She went on many jobs with the group of thieves that took her in. Every job included stealing or breaking and entering, as is her profession.

Beginning Roleplaying Questions

1. Stealing is a way of life. It is one of the only things that Matahari believes in. She loves stealing and sneaking around, it brings her great amounts of joy.

2. Matahari has no siblings and her parents were murdered when she was young. She isn’t sure who killed them or why, but she wishes she could get revenge.

3. She could care less for nobility or authority. She doesn’t see them as higher ups in any way. She won’t respect them as such unless they’ve earned it.

4. Matahari wears simple leather armor and leather boots. She recently had a set of glass shard earrings and a neckless made in Banesmarket. Matahari has several scars from her days of thieving and living on the streets.

5. Matahari wants to steal as much as possible, and protect Sarah from the world.

6. Matahari feels that her biggest mistake was not avenging her parents when she still lived in the Five Fingers.

7. Matahari's greatest fear is losing her skills as a thief. She practices often so she never gets rusty at stealing and sneaking. It is her greatest strength in this world and she could never handle losing it.

8. Matahari wants to get as much money as possible and become stronger. She wants to be strong to make up for failing her parents on the night of their murder. She feels that she could have prevented their murders, so she strives to get stronger for them. She has also grown very attached to Sarah and she enjoys the company of her other companions.

9. She doesn’t care much about how others perceive her, so long as they don’t call her short. She doesn’t change herself for anyone, she knows that she will already be judged for being a gobber anyway. She knows the prejudice against gobbers, so she doesn’t see the point in trying to change at all.

10. To get to know her parents. Since they were murdered when she was young, she doesn't remember much about them. She wants to experience being a child with her parents taking care of her, not the rough life she had on the streets.
