The leader of the Blue Wolf Mercenary Group, Bevyn is an intelligent and capable leader with a wide variety of loyal mercenaries under his command. While his physical identity is a closely guarded secret, he has close ties to many influential people and knows a lot about the political state of Curtana.

Bevyn Kayne is the owner-leader of the Blue Wolf Mercenary Group, and the current holder of the title "Mercenary King". The elder of the Kayne brothers, and the one “in charge”, Bevyn is comes across as relaxed and laid-back, but is also clearly well-educated and connected. He is generally open minded and curious, but also cautious and clever with his words. Those who have met him know him to be incredibly insightful, and his ability to detect lies is legendary, even outside of his organisation. There is apparently enough wealth within Blue Wolf Mercenary Group that he seems indifferent to monetary cost, and he is more than happy to give out expensive items to his employees when needed. Bevyn is very patient, but is also known to have a violent temper when pushed too far. He hates brown-nosing, prefering effective actions over pretty words, and has numerous friends in high places, including Sergeant Dygariad and Senior Guardsman Vihan of the House. He is considered one of the only people with high enough influence to be able to engage with, and even dance with, the Lady of the House.
 
Bevyn stands at 6 feet 4 inches and has the broader frame of a Human, but moves with the grace of an Elf. His only identifiable features are his eyes, which are dark brown; otherwise he keeps his face and body covered. Even his voice is distorted by the mask he wears, giving away only that it is a mellow baritone. When in combat, he generally fights with a longsword and magical trinkets. He is fast and competent, with a highly tactical mind and a deep, unwavering trust in his brother, Iden.
