Personal history

Born as a son of a leatherworker in a small village, his fate was also to become one. From a young age he learned how to skin animals and dry leather, helping in his father's business. Oftentimes he would sneak out of the village, following local hunters to see them in action. When he grew older, he took many chances to get out of his leatherworking job, giving excuses that acquiring pelts is just as important, also finding the biggest beast he could mount. However, he did his job diligently whenever he could. The place most visited after the workshop is the local ambulance, where he would get his frequent wound patched up. One day when he went to hunt alone with his horse Dundee, he stumbled upon a cave, hoping to find some mushrooms inside, he decided to go in. After making sure that the cave is void of any potentially dangerous beasts, he went deeper inside. He searched for a while, but to no avail, no mushrooms to be found, but then, in the corner of his eye, he saw a blue hue coming from a crack in the cave wall. Curious, he decided to investigate, getting closer, he saw that is was a some sort of blueish liquid behind that crack, just waiting to spill out. Putting his hand on the crack, trying to see how sturdy the wall is, the crack suddenly expanded, enveloping his arm in this blueish substance. He felt his skin melt, his bones break, it was mucena, a highly corrosive magical conducting liquid. His mind soon became blank and passed out on the spot. He woke up some time later, thankfully in one piece, but something was different, his left arm was now made out of this blueish substance with metallic properties. Walking out of the cave, he covered his changed arm in rags in an attempt to hide it. He noticed that his horse was not there anymore. Not so late after, he found the search party that was sent after him, it turns out that he was passed out for three days. On the second day the horse had returned to the village to alert them. People took him back and offered him medical help, which he refused, in fear that his arm would scare them. After a few days of isolation, he came out of the workshop with his left arm covered in custom made clothing that showed no skin. Many asked him about it, but were met with generic answers that it was badly damaged, burned and in recovery. It did not take long for things to go back to normal, people teasing him about the arm cover, and his dad teasing him to find a wife. It seems that this new arm is not without effect, he began to feel the world around him in a different way, he could use magic to manipulate the nearby elements of nature, granted, with a lot of pain that got easier the more he practiced in secret, still, if overused, it caused immense pain. One day when passing next to a mirror, in the reflection he saw himself as a pelagekin wolverine in ancient armor with a big scar on the right side of his face. It lasted only for a second, but the concern was real, he tried sleeping it off, telling himself that he was just tired, but he knew it had to do something with his arm.

Recieved basic reading and writing knowledge from the local church. No formal education, he often learns from traveling merchants that visit or during escort missions.

Motivation

Instilled from his father from a young age, he developed a strong urge to protect and provide, a sense of duty and commitment. He always dreamt of taming a mighty beast. Nowadays his days are spent with a troubled mind thinking about his mucena arm and how to possibly control or revert it.
