Session 6: What is beneath The Shadowed Oak Inn? Report

General Summary

Upon entering the trapdoor, the three (Mozdemir  , Ellyrian Starchaser and Cairn Macdui) found the ladder ended dropping them into a corridor that led to a staircase that descended into Lyria Duskbane laboratory.   Assuming after such time and not being able to hear or sense the presence of any living creatures the team moved forward into the room, passing a suit of armor that immediately triggered and attacked the party. Along with a couple of animated swords, it may be that Lyria is gone but traces of her magic are still present.    After dealing with the suit or armour, he crushed it under the hammer of Mozdemir  , Cairn Macdui crushed it further and strapped it to himself for later use being of a size too small for him.   Passing a room that was the source of a stench noticed by Mozdemir  earlier, barrels of blood and other bodily parts. It was clear that this was some room used to store and then remove the consequences of the "Experiments" that were done.    However, without checking the room prior to going in they were attacked once again. However, again the enchanted sword that attacked them was swiftly dealt with.    Finding nothing of value within the room, however, noting that of all remains found non were elves and there was nothing that seemed to be associated with Lyria. They moved into the main room.   in the middle was various pillars with bloodstains in the middle along with chains. Whatever was held within those chains does not seem to have survived what happened within those pillars. Upon a raise and still eerily lit raised section of the room can be seen a raised altar/desk/workbench with a book upon it.   However, it is surrounded by moving creatures...
