Session 41: Report

General Summary

The party journeyed northward, with Oz flying ahead to scout the terrain. As they progressed, they encountered a fork in the road, with a path leading west, but decided to stay on their northbound course. During Oz's reconnaissance, he spotted a set of ruins to the northeast, nestled near the edge of a dense forest. Despite the intriguing sight, the group opted to press on northward, believing the ruins to be a distraction from their true destination.   Eventually, they arrived at the Spring of Ornaments, a place that stirred memories for Belladonna, reminding her of her grandmother’s workshop. The soothing light reflected through the crystals at the spring left the group feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It was here that Belladonna met Eldrick, a man who claimed to know her grandfather, Maurice. Eldrick revealed that he had been living at the springs for 30 years, though he oddly mentioned seeing his loved ones just last week.   The conversation took a surprising turn when Belladonna learned that Eldrick was, in fact, her grandfather. He shared tales of Maurice’s misadventures, including a particularly long project involving a lighthouse. This revelation prompted Belladonna to decide to spend more time at the springs, taking a much-needed rest. Meanwhile, the party discussed their next move, deciding to investigate the springs further, suspecting a connection to the missing people and the mysterious doctors they sought.   With investigation on their minds, the party sought to gather information from local contacts. Marcus, recalling his connections from his time with The Unseen, led them to Liora Faelyn antique shop. However, their arrival was met with suspicion, and Liora demanded proof before sharing any information.   As the day drew to a close, the party decided to order drinks and bide their time, waiting for any leads from Leora. Marcus took it upon himself to find lodging, securing two rooms at an inn for a four-day stay. With accommodations sorted, the group prepared to dive deeper into their investigation, determined to uncover the truth behind the springs and the enigmatic connections that surrounded them.
