Depicted as an extremely muscular bullkin with massive black horns and an intimidating glower, and a buxom bullkin matron of queenly mein. While this divine duo are sometimes shown or referred to individually, it is far more common to show them together or as part of diorama sequences illustrating specific tales from the sagas featuring their epic romance. Some of these classic stories are so ingrained in the culture that they have been reduced to abstract representations which are instantly understood by most people to call forth ideas such as love, lust, jealousy, frustration, heartache, and similar notions pertaining to romance and intimate relationships.

In the beginning of days, the youth Bulor fell in love at first sight with Bovina, but she was a famous beauty whose hand was hard sought. She had many suitors, all of accomplished status and deed, while Bulor was a poor nobody from the fields. Determined to make his name and become worthy of her attention, Bulor had many adventures, defeated many monsters, and finally became a great and famous hero. Returning to Bovina's homeland he challenged all her other suitors, and won the promise of her hand in marriage by rite of glory. But Bovina did not love this brutish man-child from the backwoods, and refused to wed. Bulor begged of her to know what it would take to prove himself worthy of her love. Bovina gave him thirteen tasks, one after another, and the tales of these challenges form the second arc of their saga.
Finally, Bulor had done all she had asked and Bovina had come to appreciate that his love was true. She accepted him and they were wed in a great ceremony and received many gifts from other mythic figures. But despite a promising honeymoon, the two were true opposites. Their marriage soon proved to be at least as challenging to Bulor as the travails he had already overcome, while Bovina's patience was endlessly tested by her mate's lack of wit or grace. Thus, the third arc of their saga are various tales of their marital strife, a series of classic relationship ups and downs which push them to their limits only for their love to overcome their differences enough to reconcile again...starting the cycle all over again.
  • Barbarians: Path of the Horn
  • Clerics: the priests of Bulor favor the War Domain, while the priestesses of Bovina favor the Life and Peace Domains
  • Fighters: Champion, Roughneck, Knight (Order of the Charging Bull)

Knightly Order of the Charging Bull
The Knightly Order of the Charging Bull, inspired by Bulor, is small but enjoys legendary repute due to many long centuries of tradition and deeds. Though the order was much larger in antiquity, only three formidable but ancient strongholds remain: Duntarbh, Caisadharca, and Cnocadharca. Most famously, the knights of this order assign supreme virtue in the power of the all out charge. Preferring to go heavily armored, and to be bellicose in the face of an enemy, each knight can be counted upon to lead from the front and to put their mailed bodies to the test in the thick of battle. Virtually all member of this order are fighters and those with sufficent levels enter the Knight Martial Archetype; those who take the Knight subclass must choose either Courser or Lancer as their first Knightly Virtue.
