Soul Siphon
The soul siphon is an energy based device that powered the city of Gardenia since the meadow era. The Soul Siphon was invented by Neve Olgrim of Olgrimion inspiration coming from a vision her husband had about the energy of the shining ones the spirit matrix creating the schematics of the grand power system. Through the last deposit of firmamium she manufactured the soul siphon a mere fragment of the soul matrix but it did it's job.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The Soul Siphon is a huge device stationed at the bottom of Gardenia shaped like a seed with many wires going throughout the city. It has two modes stationary & core for a while it was set to stationary using the spirit of Sellfur to power the entire city regardless of his location in Gardenia he'd be siphoned to power the city. The core mode was put in place after the Hollow War placing 100 soul stones in the soul siphon & their spirit will power the city for 1 month then the soul stones must be cycled with another 100 soul stones or the other souls will shatter and be unusable.
History
The Soul Siphon was invented from a vision of Sellfur of the Soul Matrix technology that powered the Seraph Empire. Invented by Neve Olgrim the siphon used the infinite spirit of Sellfur to power Gardenia for centuries until the Hollow War once the flood occurred to end the darkin threat 2,400,000 souls became the batteries rather than Sellfur. Eventually after the Black Garden War when Astreon was founded & the Black Garden Pact was made the Soul Siphon was discontinued in favor of the Nova Cores.
Significance
The Soul Siphon was a means of powering Gardenia with esoteric seraphim technology using the infinite spirit of the King Sellfur to keep the city powered indefinitely so long as he was in the city. The Soul Siphon was a symbol of the majesty of the seraphim's technology although it was eventually put out of use after the Black Garden Pact was made.
