Pale Island
The Pale Island originally called the Iron Islands is a large island in the seas of Zione originally where an exiled faction lived as punishment for their actions now it's where the Pale Legion dwell. It's a fertile land we're death & decay intermingle with life like in Vanaheim.
Geography
The geography of the island is layered from a coastline to a forest, to a mountain, & a large lake, to the fortress. The atmosphere has a feel of tranquility and to the unwise gloom.
Locations
- Pale Angel Coastline: The outer coastline of the Island. The coastline frequently has undead swarming it as a form of protection. There are many shipwrecks from the iron angels who used to inhabit the island.
- Pale Valley: A grassland past the coastline. The plains had 5 camps that the iron angels used as the first line of defense against intruders. Those camps are now used by the Pale Witch's undead as war camps with 200ft. high watch towers. The Pale Valley, like the Pale coastline, is also littered with Undead.
- The Pale Forest: Formerly called the Iron Forest, known for its Iron Trees now the Pale Witch's garden of death. The once mundane forest became a garden of death populated by undead & death bloom plants. The forest has many deadly flour in it that tourists are kept from.
- The Pale Mountains: Formerly called the Iron Mountains, now the Pale Mountains. The original denizens of the mountain trolls dug out many tunnels throughout the caves, while the iron angels further refined the network of caves & tunnels. Now undead inhabit the tunnels and zombies mine the vast veins of iron sold to Olgrimion.
- The Pale Gorge: Originally called the Iron Fjord, was a large lake that passed the mountains, where a stone bridge was built to allow passage through the lake. The Pale Gorge has areas that can be frozen, by the frost walkers owned by the Pale Witch who act as defense in the gorge. In the middle of the gorge is the Pale Angel Fortress.
Ecosystem
The ecosystems of the pale angel Island are both full of death & life as the forests have rotten, festering plantlife that fosters the growth of rare & valuable flora. History
The island was Initially called the Iron Angel Island where the Iron Angels were banished by Virgo for the Iron Massacre, to live in isolation from the rest of the world & made sterile by the Goddess Of Purity to never be able to bring up a generation under their ideals. The Iron Angels then went to a bandit life subjugating others to get by like trolls to harvest their blood for black market potions.
This went on for years until the Pale Purge where all of the Iron Angels where killed by Savaera as retribution for her family who where murdered at their hands. The island then became the property of Savaera and her Garden Of Death.
"My haven something I took when I ended a blight on the world. Sure I have to deal with being in earth territory but I'm fine with it." - Saveara
"Aside from the Umbral Valley this was one of my favorite places to spend time in. Once you get past the smell of death it's quite lovely and a great place when you feel sad and want no one bothering you while you wallow in it. The black rabbits & deer, the butterflies, it's like death is life." - Calamitas
"This place isn't suitable for just anyone to come to. I can admire the dedication to death. You really can't trust anything here, roses that put you in a death state, ravens that will relay anything you do to Saveara. She really made something for herself and is better than her." - Damien
