The Arcane Estate
Known throughout Mytograd as The Arcane Estate, this is a large, almost keep-like building. It rises three stories high, and is made purely from stone. The building is surrounded by a eight feet tall stone wall, which also surrounds a large garden or yard connected to the building. The Arcane Estate is property of the Arcane Guild of Mytograd, and entry here is not open to just anyone. The members of The Arcane Estate prefer to keep to themselves, thus they live in the estate, with some members rarely leaving unless absolutely necessary.
The building itself contains a small inner-yard, and it is almost separated into three different buildings;
Underneath the whole estate lies a large "basement", or underground segment. This part of the estate is split in two, half of it being where knowledge is kept and recorder, a decently sized library. The other half is where the most dangerous magic is performed and training mostyl evokation and conjuration takes place.
In the yard there is also a small house in the gardens, which is the kitchen. The Arcane Guild of Mytograd has a few outsiders working in the kitchen, and they prepare food for the mages.
There is only one entrance to the estate, and it is a strong wooden gate, with a small hatch for someone to look out through. The gate cannot be opened without the permission of whomever is the current gatekeeper. There are no keyholes, and the gate is protected by magic, making it impossible to force the door open with physical prowess. The magic can be dispelled, or pierced if someone is skilled enough.
When entrying through the gate, you can read this:
The Arcane Guild of Mytograd maintains constant wards around their estate. It won't stop sophisticated magical attacks targeting the estate, but it will block most light projectiles, and a few heavy ones before it breaks under the pressure. A person can move through it, as long as they don't move fast enough. So someone flying quickly could not enter, as they would be percieved as a projectile.
The building itself contains a small inner-yard, and it is almost separated into three different buildings;
- The northern side of the building, the largest, which has a small tower rising from it, another two stories above the rest of the sloped roofs, is the living quarters. Here members live, eat and relax. Members get their own rooms, but share meals and places of relaxation.
- The east to sout-east part is what makes up the laboratory. Here alchemy and "safe-magics" are practiced and performed.
- The west and south-west is designated as the training halls. Here, even on the inside, most things are of stones. Here more dangerous experiments are carried out.

The gate slowly opens before you, making no sound, a revealing a passage through a stone arched tunnel. The walls, and arch, of the tunnel is clad in dead vines, that seem to have once sprouted through the well-kept gravel. Gravel only interuppted by smooth stepping stones as the path continues for but a few meters. Behind the vines you can see cracked stone bricks, once painted red and smooth, their colour is aged, and cracks split the bricks.
Passing through this tunnel, it opens up, into a rectangular inner-courtyard, and in its middle lies a small marble fountain, clear water gushing fourth from its center. Stone walls, smooth in some places, and cracked in others, rise high around you, until they slope into a tiled roof. The walls are home to many windows, a few open, and you hear the distant noise of everyday conversation. You all see two large double doors, one on the north side of the building, and one on the south side, which is wide open.
Around the courtyard a few benches are placed, along with tables. Patches of the grass break through the gravel at places, often covered in wildly growing flowers of varying colours. Only one bench in the courtyard is occupied, where a short man sits, a youthfull face, focused on reading what looks to be a tome at least a dozen times older than him. He doesn't seem to pay any mind to you as you enter the courtyard. Finally, you see another archway, similar to the one you entered through. Leading south-west, and the scent of grilled meats wafts through that tunnel.

History
The Arcane Estate was built with the founding of The Arcane Guild of Mytograd. When They were granted their Lordly Charter by the Lordship of Mytograd in 931 A.R, they were also granted the plot of land which now houses the Arcane Estate. It was built by hand, not using much magic, but has since then been renovated once, in 1227 A.R, after the building sustained damage in a major siege and battle of Mytograd. Originally, the underground section was simple a cellar for food storage, but in 1049 A.R, after the Fall of Kings, it was decided that a safe place was needed to store knowledge, and the underground section was constructed by the transmuters of the guild.
