Zivaria, the Creator Goddess

Domains: Creation, Life, Nature, Peace   The continent, Zivaria, is named after the creator goddess from whom the universe was given life. Sometimes also referred to as "the Mother Goddess," but it is unknown if she actually was responsible for the birth/creation of other gods.   The Temple of Zivaria is purportedly built on the first piece of land Zivaria ever created - from thence the universe unfolded.

Description

Zivaria is depicted as a voluptuous, motherly figure, wearing a dress made of rainbows and an elaborate crown formed from the primal elements intertwined, cradling a symbol of new creation. Some depictions focus on one aspect or another; for example, those depictions focusing on her aspect as mother goddess might depict her simply as a heavily gravid woman emerging from a still pool dressed in a plain toga.

Personality

Zivaria is known to be a gentle, nurturing deity, providing aid to her petitioners in a calm, reasonable manner. She is very slow to anger, and has not been seen to smite or curse. Her doctrine explains that everything and everyone has a place within the order of creation.   Due to her gentle, calm nature, some might believe Zivaria to be aloof, not investing too heavily in the affairs of mortalkith. However, as shown to her prophets and devout, Zivaria is far from emotionless.

Her clerics may serve as peacekeepers, settling disputes according to Zivarian doctrine which describes how everything and everyone has a place within the order of creation. Her followers often focus on the vibrant positive energy of creation, and typically lean to one (or more) of the primal elements.   Followers typically exhibit some of the following behaviors:

• Act merciful, kind, and promote forgiveness
• Live and let live
• Enkindle the primal elements
• Live in harmony with those unlike you
• Encourage diversity
• Serve as healers of body and/or mind; midwives; nurses; peacekeepers
