The Council of Peers
The ruling council of Z'Veena, who report only to the Governor of Z'Veena. Comprised of the top leaders of each field of study and industry.
Delegates are nominated by the Council of Peers only. There is no limit to how many delegates a peer can nominate. Peers can be petitioned by aspirants or citizens to review potential delegates. Nomination is not the same as sponsorship. Sponsored delegates stand a better chance of being elected as it shows a sort of insurance. No term limit - but upon council agreement, the Council of Peers can replace the Governor at any time via special election.
There is no limit to the number of council members at any one time, but a minimum majority of 5 passing votes is required for any bill. Often council members have industry responsibilities that may take them away from Z'Veena at any time.
Charibert Bunce. A male halfling architect and stonemason.
Don Zoté. A male lizardfolk banker.
Etrair Peltfoot. A male dwarven tanner and leathermaker.
Galixiphelia. A female dragonborn gladiator.
Giullis Kelphine. A male elf librarian and scholar.
Kizaikta Otira. A female dragonborn high priestess of Hykidite, Goddess of Invention, leader of the Tudoveras.
Londados Red Like Blood. A male orc weapon and armor smith.
Maeve Goldmaker. A female dwarven merchant.
Rhurzha. A female lizardfolk druid; professor of natural and agricultural science at The Avail Academy, she holds a place on the Council of Peers, even if she is not always in the city.
Saffis. A male fire genasi glassblower.
Verek Darksteele. A male snakefolk alchemist.
Xanali Farmark. A nonbinary kobold jeweler and scopesmith.
Zelda Silverhorn. A female silver dragonborn artificer of great skill. She works mainly in magical artificing and her popularity comes from the controversy she causes. She heads an exclusive teaching and training school in Z'Veena along with her council duties.
Zevrij Tuskbender. A nonbinary trollkin axebeak rancher(?).
