Districts of Crossings Cave

The Undermoon

The largest district of Crossings Cave, distinguished by a great sphere of pearly luminescent stone embedded in the ceiling of the largest of caverns. Provides unending light as bright as daylight for the businesses and residences below it. A natural spring provides water via a rushing, narrow river, dotted with a series of waterfalls, winding through the district.

Reistara Glade

RICE-tar-uh   A cavern filled with well-cared for gardens and dripping with willowy hanging foliage of varying luminescence. Small, floating witchlights provide illumination in areas not lit by the plant life.

• "Six of Flowers": a placard styled like a playing card labels this small shop selling perfumes and alchemical tinctures
• Hyne Serine: a dryad grove, whose residents trade in rare botanicals
• Malachite Grove Inn: An inn for those approved for longer stays.

The Aedrileia Tholos

aid-RILL-ee-uh TOLL-ohs   The religious and academic district of Crossings Cave. This large, round cavern's natural pillars have been carved to create a built-in colonnade ringing a large stadium amphitheater, with smaller buildings built into neighboring caves, designated by their own pillared posts and lintels carved into the Tholos' walls. At the rear of the amphiteater lies the entrance to the Koreotheion, the Great Temple of Harmony. towering vertical braziers illuminate and warm this cavernous space.

• The Koreotheion: The Great Temple of Harmony - a temple to all known gods, and empty shrines for unknown or new gods. All worships are equally welcome, and no preference or deference is shown to any one god, even Zivaria, the Creator Goddess.
• The Odeum: a large amphitheater carved out of the floor of the Tholos. There is nearly always some sort of music echoing from the Odeum's bowl-shaped theater.

Goroth Dohr

GORE-uth DOOR   The Jarl's keep, built higher into the cave walls, overlooking all of the Undermoon district. Many flights of stairs to access.

Nightveil Depths

The secondary cavern system below the civillized are of Crossings Cave. Treacherous passages house unknown, dangerous monsters.   Nightveil Depths can only be accessed by crossing a blessed silver bridge and passing through guarded, similarly blessed silver gates referred to as the Crossing of the Silent Gods.
