Dwarf
Dwarven Caste System
The Dwarven clans are divided into various castes. The caste a Dwarf is born into is based on the father's caste and determines the focus of the education and training the initially provided. Dwarves are not bound to their caste, but they cannot apply to be trained in another caste until they have completed the training of their birth caste.__Caste__ |

Gods and Pantheons
Dwarves do not worship gods in the same manner that many races do, where they follow some powerful deity or being. Instead, Dwarves give honor to the Dwarven Pantheons. The Dwarven Pantheons are Dwarves who, during their time alive, performed a monumental deed/service that had a great impact on the Dwarves or was viewed as the embodiment of a traits that they hold in high regard. Despite, traditionally, not worshiping gods and deities, the Dwarves do not ignore their existence. They acknowledge their presence, but rarely follow their beliefs.Civilization and Culture
Courtship Ideals
When marrying into a clan of higher standing (usually based on financial/property holdings of the clan), it is tradition to provide a dowry to the clan as a way to represent that you are capable of rising to their level. The larger the difference between clan standing, the larger the dowry is to be.
