The HOG Report: Ragman Rises Again?

31 Autumn, 500 A.O.V.

Flint is once again plagued by a mysterious serial killer, and once again the authorities are sitting on their hands. Strange rumours abound of bizarre deaths in the Parity Lake district. With no official announcements, rumour was all that anyone had to go on, until this Half-Orc Gentleman took it upon himself to investigate.

Some say that these latest murders are the work of the Ragman, the unnamed person responsible for a series of killings earlier this year, however this reporter thinks that is unlikely. Confidential sources have indicated that the Ragman was apprehended by agents of the Royal Homeland Constabulary but never prosecuted, for reasons that remain cloaked in secrecy.

Furthermore, there are strange reports of bizarre mutilations of the victims’ bodies. This reporter was unable to verify these reports, but they are too consistent to ignore. Dr. Zoya Isayev of Pardwight University, who often performs autopsies for the police, refused to comment on this case.

The recent killings may also be related to the cases of so-called “Distant Madness” that have been occurring mainly in Parity Lake, as reported in this paper.

Whether these new murders are the work of the Ragman or someone else, the city once more finds itself at the mercy of a vicious killer and a useless police department.
