Lacy Tender

Lacy Tender

"I must go walking as somebody else."

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Lacy appears to be in somewhere in her early to mid 20s. While Trevor has memories of her in her early teens, he has difficulty pinpointing how long ago those memories occurred, making him an unreliable source for Lacy's true age. GraveRobber has observed that her manner of speaking and her social insights belong to someone older than her apparent age; she has thanked him for this flattery.

Identifying Characteristics

Lacy has a tattoo on her left forearm of three rough, intersecting lines. She refers to it only as "the Mark" and refuses to explain its significance.

Special abilities

Any melee damage Lacy deals is lethal damage. Even if she pulls her blows, she is unable to deal nonlethal damage.

Apparel & Accessories

Lacy favors worn, soft denim which is often splattered with paint or wood-stain, either jeans or denim coveralls. Shirts are usually worn t-shirts and sometimes flannels. She usually wears a leather biker-style jacket if away from the shop.

She also wears a distinctive pair of glasses. These glasses are jewel-faceted along the edges of the lenses, causing anyone wearing them to see rainbows and kaleidoscopic patterns in their peripheral vision. Such glasses are popular among pure Zydrate users as the glasses enhance the hallucinogenic aspects of the drug.

Employment

Lacy works in her father's alchemy shop, mostly behind the counter as a clerk but also preparing and bottling various substances.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Lacy considers herself an equalizing force in the world. She believes her purpose is to find ways to balance out extremes in society.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Lacy is a talented alchemist, capable of producing and diluting Sinus Venenum (Zydrate) to both its common street variety and to the weaker clinical strength. Additionally, she can produce noshader and bottle it for use in a Zydrate gun. She's an excellent negotiator, often able to barter for whatever she needs or to convince buyers that her prices are an incredibly lucky deal. She also has nearly perfect pitch and sings with a clear, strong alto voice.

Likes & Dislikes

Lacy prefers the company of anti-socials: drug addicts and dealers, scalpel sluts, and other ne'er-do-wells. She also loves music and is an avid fan of Blind Mag and the Genetic Opera. She intensely dislikes anyone vanilla enough to hold a normal job.

Personality Quirks

Lacy is fluent in the street cant of Zydrate users. As a result, she occasionally speaks in a lyrical double-talk that doesn't make much sense to someone outside the scene.

Lacy is difficult to read: the nature of her glasses seems to indicate that she is a pure Zydrate user, one who prefers the hallucinogenic aspects of the drug. On the other hand, she shows no other signs of Zydrate use or abuse, no cravings, no history of overdose, etc. Neither Trevor nor GraveRobber have sold her Zydrate or know anyone who has.
