Furthermore, the People's Democracy of Zaldebrash City has a thriving economy and several factories, many of which were converted from making instruments of war to instead make necessities for the common people of Zaldebrash City.
History
At the tail end of the Civil Rights Movement, the Dictatorship of Zaldebrash City disbanded. The people eventually settled on a democratic system in which 100 people would be elected every few gyles to be councilors, each councilor having equal say on legislation.
The first decisions of the council were to depower the police force (so that no future coups would occur, as retaliation from the former members of the Dictatorship of Zaldebrash City was expected) and to strike from the law all of the discriminatory laws of their predecessors.
