Yshtera

Yshtera is written in czech language, english translation will be added whenever possible.   Yshtera, Hishtjar, Ishtaríf, Ishtaria, Esthar, Ystjír – to vše jsou variace na jméno světa, ve kterém se naše příběhy odehrávají. Už z různorodosti a množství názvů, které svět nese, se dá vyvodit, že jde o svět prastarý, s bohatou historií a různými kulturami. Historie lidských národů se tu odhaduje minimálně na několik tisíciletí. Mezi světovými národy jsou velké fyziologické i vizuální odlišnosti, což vyvolává domněnky, že se vyvinuly odděleně, podobnosti v jejich náboženství a legendách o vzniku světa tomu však odporují.   Svět je zasazen do post-starověkého fantasy settingu se silnými historickými a mytologickými vlivy. Je obydlen několika lidskými rasami, několika humanoidními zvířecími rasami a spoustou dalších tvorů. Ve světě je magie a je v něm i mnoho dalšího.   Slouží především jako základna pro RPG a deskové hry. The number of names and variations itself implies an ancient world, rich in history and culture. Human history is estimated to be at least a few thousand years old. There are rather significant differences between various human races in their appearance and culture, which could indicate their separate evolution, while their shared religion and mythology hint on the opposite.   The world is set in a post-ancient fantasy setting with strong historical and mythological influences. It is inhabited by several human races, several humanoid animal races and plenty of other creatures. There is magic in this world and there is more.   It primarily serves as a basis for RPGs and boardgames. There are several campaigns actively being played in the world and countless stories run in the background.
