The Fall of Atlantis and the 5th Dynasty

As the Order of the Phoenix descends to the second level of the Tomb of the Shattered Sun, they uncover further murals and inscriptions. These reveal that with the birth of the abominations known as Vampires, the balance of the realms was thrown into turmoil. In response, the Greek god Poseidon rose in defiance, rallying the other pantheons of YonZora—including the Roman, Norse, Giant, and Orc gods—against the treachery of Sekhmet and the prideful Egyptian pantheon.

Led by Poseidon’s wrath, the united pantheons descended upon Atlantis. In a single cataclysmic day, they destroyed the great city and its island, shattering the power of the Fifth Dynasty and stripping the realm of Zavabue of its dominion. The devastation was apocalyptic: millions perished in Atlantis and along the western coasts of Azure, where a titanic tsunami reshaped the world itself. This great wave carved out the Zacigona Peninsula and tore North and South Azure apart.

Yet even this divine assault could not end the curse of Sekhmet. The six abominations endured, defying destruction. In answer, Poseidon created his own champions—beings forged with a single purpose: to hunt and destroy the vampires, wherever they might spread their shadow.
