Repository of Alaxarian Enlightenment

This vast library exists within the former base level of Alaxar's Tower. With Alaxar's permission (usually as a result of a quest reward or by trading reputation with either Alaxar, Ioun or Fallcrest), individuals or groups may be granted access to the library for a limited time.    

Study Options

While in the Repository, players may study in the following ways.  

General Study

After studying for 1 day (minimum of 8 hours per day), roll on the General Study Table. The information you learn is based upon the General Study Table.    

Focused Study: Arcana

This study allowes you to focus on information related to Arcana. These topics can include (but are not limited to):

• Magical Information
• Spells and spell Scroll Location
• Magic Item Creation Recipes

   

Focused Study: Nature

This study allowes you to focus on information related to Nature. These topics can include (but are not limited to):

• Creature Types (dragons, undead, celestial, etc)
• Creatures (Pixie, Skeleton, White Dragons
• Natural Regions

   

Focused Study: History

This study allowes you to focus on information related to Arcana. These topics can include (but are not limited to):

• Magical Information

   

Focused Study: Religion

This study allowes you to focus on information related to Arcana. These topics can include (but are not limited to):

• Magical Information

 

Object/Creature/Species/Location Research

This feature allows a character to research a specific object, creature, location. The character rolls on the Research table. If a character is proficient in the appropriate skill which relates to the subject of the research (for example, seeking information on a specific religious figure may require the Religion skill).
