The Rising Talon

Xios has only seen The Rising Talon appear once, and that was during the climax of the Balance Wars. Hundreds of dragons raining down from the skies breathing fire upon the evil forces, it was a sight to behold. Unfortunately with the dreadlords under Myrkul's command, the dragons were reduced to but a few dozen that still roam the skies of Xios. Not much is known about this faction, only that they are the strongest in the lands. If you find yourself lucky, brave, and strong enough to become part of this faction, consider yourself blessed by Bahamut himself.

Ruling Diety: Bahamut

Races: With a faction filled with dragons, most races find it almost impossible to join this faction. Dragonborne have a little easier time, but it is still hard none the less.

Benefits: Living for centuries, the dragons have access to knowledge that almost rival the dieties themselves. Though not always trusting of other races, they do reveal some of their secrets to you. You gain the trait: Insightful Knowledge

Insightful Knowledge: Once per day, you may do one of the following: - When fighting a single enemy, you can peer into their minds (Excluding dieties, demons, elementals, and fiends). You learn everything there is to know about that enemy, including it's weaknesses, plans (if any), and recent places it's been (within a day). - When taking a short or long rest, you may choose to expend your highest available spell slot to enter the Ethereal Plane for up to 1d4 hours. You can navigate up to a 1 mile radius within where your body in the material plane lies. You can see buildings, landmarks, and other terrain, as well as any magical sources. You must have one of your highest spell slots available to activate this ability.
