Crocutid (Crow-qu-tid)

The Crocutid's were first encountered by Rogue Trader Deno Creed, in the Eastern Fringe during M42. In his log, Creed noted that the Crocutid's, 'were a highly aggresove, irritable, matriarcal Xeno society, that somewhat resembled the Crocuta of Terra'.
They have been witnessed carrying out raids on T'au Empire void vessels, stealing construction materials and void craft parts. According to Ambassador Suun'yo, they are even known to commit acts of piracy on smaller cargo vessels. Supporting this is the testimony of Kaiser Max Hawkburg of Govara, who claims to have personaly witnessed them raid his world in order to scavange archeotech belonging to the Diasporex.
A living sample has not, as of yet been captured for study. A specimen would be of great interest to the Divisio Biologis and their Xenobiologists.
The location of their home world remains as of yet unknown, but as the Crocutid's appear to be active in the Northern Eastern Fringe. It is believed that there home world must be located somwhere within the region.
