Dragon Faeries
The Dragon Fairy Guild is not unique among the guilds of Uirsgeul, but they are certainly the minority. This is because they refuse to recognize the authority of the Uirsgeulean Guild Commission, and only take private contracts. They claim that this is in response to the King's use of guilds to squash the rebellion a few years back, but there are rumors that it's a plot for something else.
They are also somewhat unique in the fact that they only accept Caster-type Questers. This isn't unheard of, but it often ends up limiting the guild more than it creates a proper identity. This is especially true of Adventuring Guilds, as the jobs that come in run the gamut of requests, meaning that a wider variety of Questers makes for more jobs able to be completed. Even the Black Seal Armory actually employs a number of Questers – despite being a Smith guild – so they can acquire difficult to obtain materials.
The Guild Master of the Dragon Fairies is Seaghán mac Connach – arguably one of the most powerful mages currently in the field – is a stubborn man, but he believes deeply that he is doing what is best for, not only the guild, but Uirsgeul by operating his guild the way he does. He has given many an impassioned speech about the role of guilds, and how they are meant to serve the people – something he believes the crown and many of his compatriots have forgotten.
