Wall of Wills

The Wall of Wills is an unbreakable force, said to be the very will of the Weaver Herself, that protects the Cradles from the darkness that resides between them. Many dangers travel the Veil, and something must keep that darkness from entering the pockets of life that reside within the Cradles. The Wall wraps around each Cradle, and some claim that it encloses the whole of the Woven Worlds, to keep whatever may reside outside the Weaver's protection away from Her creation.

No one really knows what makes up the Wall of Wills, or how it came to be, but when Intergalactic Travel was discovered, Visctherian scientists realized that travel between Cradles is nigh impossible without using a Gate. The Wall forms an impassable force field around each Cradle, that keeps something like an Illuvian from coming in, but also anything within the Cradle from leaving. There has been various studies done to try and interact with or even break the Wall, but none have been successful so far.
