Unofficial Summer Camp Rewind Intro
Ever wanted to participate in Summer Camp or other WA Events from previous years but on your own time and still get some sort of reward?
Do you have a new world that you wish that you'd done a Summer Camp or Prompt in but that world simply didn't exist in that time and now it's too late?
Do you have completionist disease and want to do everything that has ever been or will be?
If you said yes to any of these questions, I have the solution! Introducing the Unofficial Summer Camp Rewind (and maybe later Events Rewind), I'm working on slowly remaking mossy overgrown versions of the old Summer Camp Event badges so that I, and maybe also you, can redo old events and get a cool shiny new badge!
The Unofficial Summer Camp Rewind is self-led (as in, you do it, by yourself, on your own time) and not affiliated with World Anvil or the Official Summer Camp event. This is just a fun thing I came up with to try their prompts but in my own time!
How does this work?
Since this is entirely unofficial and to save myself the trouble of having to verify a million entries in perpetuity, this is going to be a self-assigned thing. All you need to do is make an article for each of the prompts and each time you reach the article goal for each badge, you can give it to your article.
Since it's self-led with no set schedule I personally suggest that you use the badges as a sort of upgrade-able/evolving badge rather than a final ranking. However, how you participate in this is entirely up to you, and how you wish to present the finished prompts are too. Do feel free to submit the prompts to their respective pages, too! I'd love to see what you all end up creating!
Submitting Prompts
Each year will have pages on this world which act as prompt-pages you can submit your work to using the same comment and template combo as submitting your worlds to here. I thought this would be an added bonus as hopefully it'll encourage people to read what people share and create a growing list of answers to the prompts!
In Summary
To put all of this rabble together, basically your main workflow would be :
1. Go to the Summer Camp Rewind prompt page for the year you want to start with and pick your prompts.
2. Write a corresponding article in your world for each of the prompts you've chosen
3. (Optional) Submit your prompts to the corresponding prompt page here!
4. Check to see if you meet the Criteria for the Badges, and if you do, assign yourself the badge!

These badges are unofficial and made by myself but inspired by the original badges, so they're subject to my taste and art style.
