It has been so long since the world nearly ended—the Cataclysm. Not even the oldest of elders can recall how the original legends sounded. And before even that, there were the ancient wars of the gods, though even less is known about them. Perhaps some forgotten scroll lingers in the old chronicles but Neithiri won't let us peek... Or maybe the stories of those times are hidden in vast libraries, but who would want to get lost in them. Today, these ancient stories hold little interest for most. This is a new age, and I wonder what tomorrow will bring, for dark and cruel times are upon us—times of war and chaos.
Come closer, gather around, and I shall tell you the stories of the Third Age. Just listen well.
