Stony Shore
The Stony Shore is the single most known piece of geography. Thousands of miles of unbroken cliffs along the western shore on the Continent of Rah, making access to the sea close to impossible. The cliffs are typically up to a couple hundred meters tall, but in some areas it's estimated to only be forty meters tall. Many attempts has been made to settle the Stony Shore, both on the rare beaches that form and on top of the cliffs. Usually, it simply proves too hard an area to live, or pirates come looking for easy pickings. The only noteable settlement on the Stony Shore is the city-state of Havenport. Located almost perfectly in the middle of the Stony Shore, and having made sea access much easier, it is a center of trade through which all traffic on the shore flows.
Most of the Stony Shore is made up of granite with a few other igneous rocks. Some other parts have large chuncks of more rare rock, such as where Havenport is located, where the area is almost pure marble. To the south there are more sedimentary rocks like sandstone, made from winds carrying sand from the Naryili Desert. Many come to the Stony Shore to mine the easily accessible rock, however, as other stone mines get opened closer to large settlements fewer and fewer still want to make the trip.
