Archmages of Grasmere

The Archmages of Grasmere are widely known to be the most powerful mages to have ever lived. They were triplets, 2 boys and a girl. They came from a little village called Grasmere, it was a hunting village, so normally there would be no chance of a magical education. However, when these triplets were born, a mage from a nearby town took a special interest in them and offered to teach them for free. They started learning when they were five, made to read heavy tomes all day until they could recite the most important bits from memory. By the time they were 10, they could cast basic magic, and they quickly grew faster and faster. By their 20th birthday their master couldn't teach them anything new. So they set out on their own to continue to learn from other masters and their own experince.

When they turned 30, they started teaching apprentices themselves. Coincidence would have it, they were great teachers. Helping students learn faster and more efficiently than any other master in the land. They managed to teach so many students in such a short amount of time, that during The Hunt there were as many mages as there are today, some even say more. It was also the Archmages of Grasmere who started, organized and finished The Hunt, after wards they stopped teaching, and not many years later they died.
The only mage who has been near their power was Jeremia Elskivia.
