Obżartuch Diner

I've got to say, this place doesn't fill me with much confidence. I'd rather guess that it was the nastiest dump I have seen in my life, instead of a diner. But the spirit of science and my curiosity require me to check the rumor. Could a Terminal Feast really be made in a place like that?
Professor Kostek, log 1027
Back before The Curtain fell, there was a diner so bad and so unhygienic that it became the nest of the nastier forms of the Spirits of hunger, to the point that they drew in more clients despite all those things. And while some said the food there was practically inedible, others were almost addicted to it. Even to the point of a case of death caused by it. The Obżartuch (Guzzler) diner.

Before the Curtain

Obżartuch was a small roadside diner in the southeastern part of the city. Even from the outside, it seemed uninviting, with its dust, rust, and oil-covered metal walls, dirty windows, and peeling signs. Inside wasn't any better. The only three tables were covered by a rag that was supposed to work as a tablecloth. All the customers were "welcomed" by rude staff. The cook could be seen even right at the entrance, and he wasn't a stalwart of cleanliness. And the less said about the toilets of the diner, the better. If all of that somehow didn't scare off the customers, the food was the sloppiest, nastiest mix of grease, meat, things that resembled fast food, and black "sauce". And yet, some people ate it and even returned to eat it again.

Case of overeating

One of the last straws before the diner was closed was a case of someone overeating and dying inside of it, a few years before the Extinction. Apparently, a customer who was already visiting the diner quite often started ordering one meal after another. The staff didn't seem to care, and before any of the other customers noticed, the situation had already turned dire. The customer ate so much that it caused extreme stress to their organs and a failure of multiple of them. Should someone with spiritual expertise check their body, they would find the signs of Possession that managed to jump to one of the cooks of the diner before it was closed down for good.

After the Curtain

Even though the real diner had been closed for a long time, the memory of it became so etched into the place where it was located that once the spiritual and material worlds merged during the Extinction, the diner returned. Visiting it is ill-advised as just staying close to it might cause sickness thanks to multiple nests of spirits of filth living around it; it might also pull one into its interior thanks to the Spirits of hunger and tone leading them, the spirit of voracity living on the premises of the restaurant. Said spirit likes to hunt down new sources of meat for their dishes or feed the victims their newest experimental dishes, with almost a sure chance of fatality.
