Good-will farm
There is a farm, in an area mostly safe from Spirits, at the edge of the city, close enough that the Familiarity levels don't drop low enough for the terrain to become weird. The people living there take care of the land and grow crops, finding techniques that ensure that they will come out as they were before The Curtain fell. Additionally, the owners offer many services that will Deweird any food brought by visitors and will happily share their food with anyone in need or those willing to pay by helping around the farm. It is even possible to order some food from them if they have enough to share, though the means of transportation and protection of cargo need to be ensured by the ones making the order.
Most of the time, there is someone working at the canteen, either a volunteer, one of the cooks, or even mrs Kowal. She likes to help around the kitchen, offering one of her special dishes or desserts. The canteen is the only building the part of which sticks out of the farm's area that is protected from spirits. But that doesn't mean that the area isn't safe. Instead, it lures a certain kind of spirits that are quite helpful to those who decide to trust them, the Spirits of hunger. Anyone who eats in their presence will soon learn that the food they eat sates them for way longer, and their body digests it better as the spirits, following their name, feed on their hunger.
Members and workers
At first, the farm was managed only by its owners, mr and mrs Kowal, their two sons, and a daughter. Even before The Curtain fell, they were good people, caring for their community. As they started to help a larger number of people, more and more of them decided to settle in and help them permanently in return. By now, the crew consists of over 50 people, mainly farmhands, cooks, some researchers, and people specialising in deweirding.Canteen
Anyone who visits the farm and brings no ill will will be offered a place to stay and food to eat. Paying for those is purely optional unless the farm is going through some tougher times. In that case, it is expected that the visitors will pay in some way, either with some resources, labor, or food. Most of the time, there is someone working at the canteen, either a volunteer, one of the cooks, or even mrs Kowal.
