Demetrius

As the son of the previous General Demetrius basically grew up in the Palace and because of this he wound up growing up playing and being friends with Aleksandra. Despite not being of noble birth himself this advantage led to him getting the best education and being able to get to know the various noble children through his father. He was treated with the utmost respect in the Palace and because of his fathers job they were treated as if they were the highest of nobility. His friendship with Aleksandra meant that he also grew up playing with Cedric Warren forming a close bond through her. As he grew up he gained an education in fighting and military tactics and when he was old enough to attend the Royal Academy he went to study the Knighthood, interested in protecting the realm and holding a code of honor. The program is longer than some of the others due to having to go through the process of being a squire and getting sponsorship from a knight, but he excelled in all of his courses. 

Demetrius graduated the program and ascended to his knighthood with top honors. He spent a year as a knight, taking up the mantle and very happily becoming a protector of the realm and his beloved city. As his first year of knighthood was wrapping up the Winter Plague struck, all the knights were called to come to the aid of the city and he did his best to help whenever and wherever possible. Many military and high ranking guard officials fell ill with the plague and Demetrius stepped up into the vacuum to assist his father in keeping the city quarantined and as safe as possible however when his father fell ill he dropped everything to care for him. He did his best to be strong not only for his father but also for Aleksandra and Ophelia as King Ulric Heartvale fell ill shortly after. Their fathers were dying, the cities leadership was dying, and Demetrius did everything he could to try and keep the princesses and himself sane. 

A few weeks after falling ill his father called him and a few witnesses to his bedroom in the palace, and he declared that after his death Demetrius would be appointed the new General. His father had already received King Ulrics permission and seal, and his father made the decree official by signing with the Generals seal. The King and his Father believed in him, that he could take all the skills he had learned and his knowledge of the city and make it better than they would leave it, and that he would take good care of the Princesses who had suffered far more loss than any children should. Once the Plague passed he was officially named General by the Princesses and The Magisterium , and since then he has done all he can to keep the city of Knotside and its people safe. He refuses to fail, to do so would be to fail the late King and his father as well as the princesses, his dear friends. In totality his leadership has been a breath of fresh air and it's as if Demetrius had been born to do the job, the most recent uptick in crime is the only blemish on his career thus far.

Studied at the Royal Academy for his knighthood, and studied his fighting and weapon mastery under his father and other city guard officials.
