Cthaat Lake
Cthaat Lake is mostly surrounded by Warsu and the Osarian Empire. Cthaat Lake isn't a naturally forming lake but instead a crater lake. Scholar's guess is that this formed when the City in the Clouds was thrust into the sky, leaving a large hole in its place. The Archives has forbidden people from approaching the lake and the nearby area. There is magical radiation emitting from the land within and around the lake. It has caused anything from unable to use magic, to illness, and all the way up to death. Because the Archives has not figured out a way to cleanse the area or stabilize it, the best they can do is rely on Warsu and the Osarian Empire to ban people from approaching.
