Order of the Drift.

This organization of multi-cultural research is dedicated to dealing with the theory of continental drift with the ultimate goal of finding the elven homeland through decoding the past. Aulvi need to determine two things: first, how long they've been gone, Second how far the continents have drifted since that time. Getting this information should give the elven people the ability to locate their lost kingdom, as well as to determine where there might be a connection beetween different continents geologically and biologically. There are also a number of Astronomers among their ranks who are trying to calculate the differences in star charts to determine the same concerns.

The Order struggles with its number of members, as elven scientists are a new group, and other scientists are rarely interested in such a niche organization. The Hughes and goblins, in particular have been an aid to the elves in this endeavor, but due to differences in personality and background, they have made less progress than expected. The elves are patient, but with the deadline of those who dwell below being unknown, they still press forward as quickly as possible.

Another difficulty that the organization struggles with is a lack of organization. Being a multi-continental organization with very few members makes it something of the first of its kind, and with different interests leading them towards a goal, the group struggles with its goals on occasion. The science itself leads the Hughes, and the goblins for their advancement in their own civilization. Aulvi, of course for the goal of finding their homeland, Rekijin researchers for their historical precedent for research, and most expansive libraries.

While they are ostensibly led by the aulven researcher Starbloom, the organization having its differing goals often leads to challenges in its ranks. Despite all of this, the organization has made great headway in its research, including some troubling finds regarding the stars.
