The geography of Hechesoieh is as the name suggests, Broken. Shattered remnants of the worlds most massive mountain created a dangerous array of low, treacherous islands. Mountain peaks surround the crater, now filled with a scorching desert, and a single oasis lake. Beyond is a lush jungle, filled with rivers, and the islands that are the remnants or what had been an impossibly tall mountain. This is the country of Daebzat, furthest south of the countries in Hechesoieh, sitting on the planetary equator.
North of Daebzat is the great trench, the deepest part of the ocean, like a rent in the world iteslf, so deep that none have ever ventured to seek its bottom and returned.
Then are the island nations of the pirate Kings and Queen: Lana Au Haulu, Tuukluutu, and Semlao, actually a string of islands that, at one point were a single landmass, but due to an ancient calamity, and continental drift in the region, are now dozens of islands split by politics.
The northernmost inhabited lands are the countries of Zevemlya, The Archduchy of Aildëhn, and El Rouridzhel (The Seven Rainbow Kingdom), and Borvannia , the northernmost pair of islands recently annexed by Zevemlya, but whose princess is in exile.
Further north, entering the arctic circle are the shattered wastes, a conglomeration of frozen islands, glaciers and icebergs
As one reached the arctic, one enters the land known in every language's tongue as The Frost. A place so inhospitable that none have been able to live there for more than a few months before succumbing to the elements or retreating home.

While the countries in the north have a combination of animals and magical beasts, the southern lands of Gënlèul have all manner of prehistoric flora, fauna, and megafauna, as well as a number of chimaeric (this meaning genetically combined) creatures.
The jungles and Aulvlands have plentiful natural resources, including salt, sand (and therefore glass), minerals, fishing, and vegetation, while the lands in the northern landmass vary by kingdom, they have some combination of these, with Borvannia giving home to mighty pine forests, megafauna, and ample fishing, not to mention the vast wealth of pure silver in the veins of its mountains, Zevemlya boasts the riches iron and gold reserves and mines in all of Hechesoieh. The Archduchy of Aildëhn boasts a wealth of verdant fields and the largest flock of Griffins on the continent, and El Rouridzhel is quite possible the most lushly vegetative and natural place in the world, certainly on the continent.
The pirate Isles of Lana Au Haulu, Tuukluutu, and Semlao have ample fishing, and many divers have found remnants of ancient civilizations in its relatively shallow waters.
