The Hinterlands

Structure

The Hinterlands is a mostly wild place, with a few settlements spread over a small portion of the country. Those settlements are a conglomerate of free cities each ruled by a Jarl, voted for by the peoples of each city individually.

Culture

Family and Faith, these two pillars of Hinterlander perpetrate all levels of society. The Nordlings gods are worshiped by all, with each person dedication themselves to a select few. These dedications usually rely on the person's profession, family or demeanour, as a person is expected to devote all their effort in pleasing their gods so that they might be granted protection from the snows.

Assets

Pelts, furs and warriors are the Hinterlands trade, many a Norlding hunter has been hired to deal with monsters in the southern realms.
