Basic Poison Arrow

Uitilizing the same compression glass found on common Water Bombs, there are many different glass arrowheads filled with healing liquids and deadly poisons. the metallic casing holding the glass vial in place is designed to puncture and shatter the glass if the impact of the arrow isn't strong enough. Additional mana arcs can be placed on the arrow in case an enemy mage is using a mana shield to negate the arrows velocity. The moment the mana arc senses the kinetic shield, it explodes outward, often covering the person in whatever liquid is inside the glass vial anyways.

A Basic Poison Arrow is one of the most common varieties of glass arrows. Filled with poison hemlock and accelerated with mana, it can quickly incapacitate and kill someone. The glass vial is partially filled with Tar to make it difficult to remove the poison.

Fortunately for anyone on the recieving end of this arrow, a counter-poison is very easy to make and nearly all adventurers have a few antidotes on their person that can cure this. A skilled mage can also use a spell to withdraw the poison from the body as well as any clothing or gear that the poison covered.

Lone individuals are often the ones who get surprised by this poison then quickly fall unconscious. Bounty hunters commonly use these if they don't have access to more expensive sleeping arrows or bombs. They can also be fired en masse by an armed force, quickly covering an entire battlefield in the poison.
