Lesea - Overview

The main battlefield of the Dragon Wars. The great mountain range that splits the territory in two is a scar upon the land, a reminder of a past filled with hellfire and freezing blizzards.

Government

Royal Family

Her Majesty the High Queen Lilia Sommergard rules over Lesea. Her brother Nael Sommergard is the heir apparent. Prince Hendrick II and Marchioness Maria of the Isles are the parents of the two.

Council

The council is made up of 8 people. Each council member represents a part of the country.

Lady Maya Taydell:

A stern woman and vicious negotiator from To'sa.

Lord Dietrich Gallobell of Elidir:

He has a tendency to not worry too much about politics, which is probably the reason why the real ruler of the port town isn't the dear Lord but the Catfolk crime family "I Gatti".

Sir Sylas Rottford:

He has taken the rural areas around the capital under his wing, he is a gentle soul and an artist through and through.

Lady Azala Grimstein:

The most approachable of the bunch. The cheerful darkelf is the mayor of the underground city of Kig Thurat.

Sir Thrasdreck Winterfort:

The dwarven gentleman is a family man. His domain is the small but significant town Topperwall. As Chief-Mechanic he oversees the production of all of Lesea's firearms and siege weaponry.

Miss Lilia & Mister Nael:

The siblings are the representatives of the capital city Hochkarn. Although they are young, they take their job very seriously.

Syndra Kaerne van Emrick:

She is the Royal Archmage. She does not represent a geographical part of the country but rather the arcane exploits of it.

Geography

Settlements

Hochkarn

The nations capital is Hochkarn, the royal palace standing atop a hill overlooking the bustling city. The council's townhouse, the Academy for Magic and Combat as well as the kingdom's only magic shop all lie here.

Kig Thurat

An underground city built by the dwarves. It is now inhabited by all manner of races. It is called "The City of Artists" because this is where paintings, carvings, poetry and similar dominate the market. If you are looking for a tasteful decoration, you will find it here.

Elidir

Elidir, the city that changes with the tides. The port town is partially built into the cliffside and gets flooded with the flow of the tides. But even though the city is very wet, the crime family "I Gatti" has made it their home. They rule the town from the shadows and have completely wrestled control from the local Lord.

Topperwall

Topperwall is the only locale that is legally allowed to produce firearms. The mechanics there are also very skilled in constructing prosthetic limbs, clockwork constructs and various golems. The town is guarded by some of these creations. The only living beings that work as town guard are high-ranking officers.

To'sa

Despite being built next to a swamp, To'sa is a very pristine city. It is the richest city in the nation. Here all of Lesea's luxury goods are produced. Silken garments, jewelry, various candy and other, similar wares.

The good-aligned goddess of Death, Madness, Disease and Evil. She is the primary healing god and her temple is the prime location to get ressurected.
