Wild Grow

One of many spells from the Herbal Necronomicon that could be used for good depending on the caster. The spell allows for a chosen plant or crop to be magically grown in abundance in a matter of minutes. Typically growing within an entire field of land whether fertile or not.

The Ritual:

In order for the spell to take place, one must attain a fresh crop they wish to reproduce. Along with five incense candles made from the wax and thorns of thistles and roses. The candles must be engraved with runes of fertility, growth, abundance, light and water and placed in a semi circle. With the fresh crop at the centre. It is important that the spell takes place in a barren field or anywhere with an abundance of space. Finally the caster can light the candles and begin chanting the incantation to replicate the crop.
A spell that can grow a field of wheat or corn in that amount of time? Sounds unnatural to me. I know we have all kinds of magic but some things just need time, patience and a good ol pair of hardworking hands.

The Effects:

Wild grow is used to increase the speed of crop growth from months to mere minutes. Reproducing any chosen plant or crop that is placed at the centre of the ritual. Once the spell is complete, the newly grown plants will last two full days before withering away to ash and dust if left alone. Any crops that have been consumed during the two days or plants that have been used in potions are not affected.   The spell required immense concentration to produce the appropriate amount of wildlife. Side effects of the spell include foliage too thick for anyone to pass through. Poisonous variants of the the intended plant or crop and in extreme cases, hyper evolutions that range from growing ten times its intended size to awakened plant beasts running amuck.
Slate's Internal Thoughts
I believe I have encountered such a spell upon my travels. In the quaint town of Moss Branch, there was a rather interesting site. As I walked past a field of orange flowers trying to imagine what they would smell like, I began to notice dust in the air. I paused by walking to investigate where it was coming from. And as I turned to the vibrant field mere moments ago was now just a bare patch of land. Dust washing away in the breeze. I must admit, I did believe it quite strange. Perhaps what was more unusual was the complaints of people in the town itself. Aggressive conversations about wheat disappearing and flowers they had bought only a day ago. It could have been a curse, but now I am unsure.
