Veilbreach

When The Mists of Vespera gives way to the incursion of an Other Realm and The Veil breaks, tearing a portal between the realms, it is called a Veilbreach. There are two different types of Veilbreaches. Veilrifts are non permanent portals that come in many different sizes and will usually seal itself over a short period of time (< 7 days). At any given time it is thought there are around 250 - 500 Veilrifts at any given time, some only opening for a few seconds. A Veilshatter is a permanent portal to an Other Realm, usually larger than a Veilrift. There are only 10 known Veilshatters in Vigil.
