Often dismissed as "lucky fools", Fortunates are individuals with an innate, passive link to the fate-web. They do not consciously manipulate destiny, but fate bends gently in their favour. Their lives are marked by bizarre survivals, uncanny timing, and success where none is expected.
However, their fortune often comes at a peculiar price. Fortunates tend to appear clumsy, socially awkward, or distracted—as if fate compensates subtly for every undeserved boon.
