Festival of the Lotus Flower

Held every year at the beginning of Spring, the Festival of the Lotus Flower is a Sylvan Enclave celebration of renewal and a memorial of those who died in the prior year. Once the lotus flowers begin to bloom, the elves of the Sylvan Enclave gather them and bring them to the Heart Trees, infusing them with the spirits of ancestors. Then, on a specific night, they all gather near the Lotus River that runs through Cypress Grove and release the flowers. As the flowers begin to float down the river, they glow. As the flowers flow down the river, special interpreters work to piece together the ultimate fate of the soul represented by each flower.
