Dockslop

Dockslop, Chum, or Sailor's Stew is a controversial food that's traditionally scraped from the gummy guts and dregs that litter the docks of Krovesport. Blood, guts, eyes, and offal -- anything that's staining the port floor is prone to being processed into the next batch of dockslop.   Dockslop is made from the dregs and clippings that are scraped up from the Blood Harbor -- it's hosed off, gathered together, and thrown into a barrel to ferment in the slime, juices, and mucus of the leviathans dredged from the deep. It is also often called Sailor's Soup, as it was often used by shipping companies to feed their workers before a series of litigation against the companies lead to its banning outside of commercial sales.

A Sailor's Stew

The 'traditional' method of Dockslop is the preparation of a sailor's stew. Old clippings and meat are tossed into a large kettle and boiled until everything melts into a sludgy broth. Workers would often do a performative ritual of thanks whenever they manage to find what few lingering morsels of meat floating in the briny broth. Bones are skimmed out, and the rest of the stew is served.

Chum

Everything left on the slaughter dock is boiled together, processed, and ground into a cohesive block. This creates a pasty slime that's often used for bait moreso than anything. Krovesport prisons are known for serving Slop on a Stick as discipline; wherein the sludge is moulded into blocks and frozen on a stick.
