Revolution

Slaves rebel on a weakening Orstad Empire.

The Orstad empire begins to lose power due to losing the land in the north and aggressive attacks in the east. While in the west most attempts at settling what later became Niere was a disaster due to the harshness of the desert and the abnormal amount of giants and large monsters in the Bolder region often created issues due to frequent attacks.
While the central empire was still indulging in hedonism and decadence, rumours of their army losing power and spreading too thin led many slaves to discuss the possibility of rebellion. While most merely saw this as a pipe dream, the slave Teveron son of Kairen from the labour force began to lead others in small attacks before they were able to unite enough slaves to begin all-out attacks.
After the rebellion began in earnest many of the slaves in the scholar and pleasure groups began to consider joining but weren't nearly as strong as slaves from the labour groups and feared what would happen. However, among these groups, a former test subject, Abadon Mournwing, began to fight regardless of the lack of support from the others. This inspired others to join despite the risks. Luckily there were few soldiers in the area by this point due to the fighting in the south-east.
