Accomplishments & Achievements
While there both her husband and daughter were used in sacrifices to Lolth, and Larvaya was tortured for several weeks until she was able to escape confinement.
After escaping her confinement she covered her body in a number of sharp items including the instruments of torture used on her. the shattered bones of her captors, and whatever she could find to create a makeshift set of spiked armour. What followed were the 10 most bloody days of Unduk' Anmaa's history where three Drow houses fell due to the death of every member of the family, a slave revolution, and the complete destruction of the largest Lolth shrine.
About a year and a half after her disappearance, Larvaya returned to Piolva, smashed the gravestone built for her, and returned to her position of the general of the Mondlicht army.
Failures & Embarrassments
In order to prove her family as more worthy than Saralene, she had her daughter make a challenge against Saralene. The fight that took place was an embarrassment that called the Illara family into question. Larvaya's daughter didn't land a single strike on Saralene and was beaten within only a couple of minutes.

History
Larvaya was something of an aunt and caretaker to Luazara when she was a small child, linking the two in a very close relationship. After Luazara's parents were killed, Larvaya cared for the young Queen and acted as a foster parent in everything but law. The other noble houses refused for the adoption to become legal as it would have made Larvaya the next Queen.
The two had a close relationship right up until Larvayas capture. After returning, the two spread apart as Larvaya began to push for not only war but the genocide of the Lolth Drow, while at the same time Luazara was advocating peace.
The relationship finally seemed to end for good when Luazara removed Larvaya from the position of commander of the armies and as her bodyguard. Now, while Luazara misses her former mother figure, she knows she can't return to what they had. On the other side, Larvaya has become seemingly blinded to the past and see's her former adopted child as a Queen without the resolve to do what must be done.
History
Larvaya resents Saralene, both for her taking what she considers her families birthright, and the fact she believes Saralene astray with talks of peace and treaties with outsiders and enemies.
Saralene, on the other hand, respects Larvayas battle skill and her past but otherwise dislikes that she gave up the relationship she had as Luazaras' mother figure over a desire for war.
