Yonling

The Yonling race is very in touch with nature. Forest dwelling. They are very shamanic. Vegetarian people, while they mostly don’t eat meat they will eat if there is no other food, its offered kindly, or if it was harvested in a respectful sustainable way.   When first discovering their land you notice how all that plants seem so healthy and vibrant. As if every plant in the forest was planted at the exact right spot. The forest is like one giant garden to them and they live harmoniously with it. They tend to keep to them selves and be home bodies.   They don’t live in big city more like many small interlinked community’s called The Hive. They often have parties where another small community will visit. They share stories, news, trade goods and have elaborate sex rituals. They are all happy and joyful.   They have been know to form small caravans to travel to see a great performer and the Venu.   While they do tend to break into small family groups with no standard gender rolls. Every adult is considered to be a parent to every child. They have a shared responsibility to the youth.   They are achlemists very good at creating medics and drugs and poison.   Deep deep in the forest they take care of and protect a ancient treant who they consider the wisest creature on the planet.   They worship Yondalla the goddess of love, nature, pleasure, beauty, joy.
