Stoneheart

Home of the dwarves. Located inside a mountain the entrance to this city is at the base of the mountain two huge stone doors. The doors are always well guarded. Inside the mountain is a city in 5 different levels with the center open to all and coming up from the bottom is a giant stone heart. Here the dwarves mine precious gems and minerals. Some of the gems have magical properties. The grow fungus for food. They have many chemical ingredients.   Before entering there is a inspection prosses done by the Defenders. Magic users are identifyed. All visitors must register.   Mineing District The five diffent levels have diffent districs. The bottem layer is where the mines are. as well as the base of the stone heart. It is illiagal tomine into the base of the heart. The mines go in differt directions and each direction produses a differnt type of mined matiral. The miners are run like a miliaty and all Stoneheart citizes must serve in the mines.    Farming District The next layer up is the farming layer where the is a echosystem of subrainin plants, fungus, animals and incests. All maintained by the dwaves and produces an abundance of food. There is a lake for fishing. Fungus groves with many ediable mushrooms. there is a cavern of glowing crystals and inside a special kind of plants grow. Insect larva are milked.   Common District The middle layer is where the entrance to Stoneheart is at the base of the mountian. It is also were all the common areas are, taverns shops, commerc. Resturants. Visiters are restricted to theis level. Where the The Stoneheart defenders are garisoned.   Housing District Next layer up is the housing district. This is where everyones homes are. Differnt neiborhoods based on the differnt dwaven clans. Also where all the schools are located. Many childern here.   Royal District The top most layer is where the royal court is. This is where the leaders do the work. The top of the stoneheard defenders along with the head of each clan. This is where people can address the court and where private mettings with the leaders takes place. The are sacred carvings of Moradin the the first dwarves to discove the heart of the mountain.
