Saint of Northern Fall Olena Revinya (a.k.a. Enka)
That's what she was supposed to be, but the more Olena thought about it, the less she liked the idea. Not that she began with a positive view of it, but she did try to keep an open mind, at least when her sister was at hand. Anna chided her enough about thinking in too-straight lines, and if nothing else at least Olena could learn from her mistakes.
There was no escaping the title, that much all others have agreed on. Olena herself was close to accepting that as truth, as the day of Choosing drew closer. It wasn't hope, not really -- hope was a foolish clutch to cling on to, discarded many years ago under the hard eyes of her mother. Still, even as she prepared for the inevitable journey, Olena kept eyes out for opportunities.

Physical Description
Special abilities
As a Strige, Olena finds astral projection and lucid dreaming much easier, to the point where she is not always able to control it well. Her dreams come in a variety of shapes, but they all share a theme: the loss of self, being unable to come back to her own mind.
Specialized Equipment
She owns a sabre, knife and a bow, though she only generally carries the knife with her (the sabre for formal occasions, bow pretty much only for the rare hunting trip).
What she does carry with her all the time is a bound journal and pen/ink, and woe upon anyone who tries to touch them. Olena also carries assorted 'witchy' implements -- minor spell ingredients, protective charms, snacks for spirits. Many of these are illegal to use, but essential to her future survival.

As a daughter of szlachta, her education would have been on the upper end of the scale, though being raised away from the main cities is be a point against that, as is her general disinterest in things not related to her. Still, she knows her classics, her histories, her way around saber and bow.
She knows a lot about Strige, the previous Saints.

The szlachta do not work for a living, they have other people for that.
Intellectual Characteristics
Olena tends to think in straight lines, in a direct contrast to her scheming sister. She has learned to turn this into an asset instead of a liability by thinking about the desired outcome of any confrontation, and then looking for the surest/straightest path to victory (instead of following conventions and getting lost in details). This often means she comes across as rude or arrogant, but then -- Olena doesn't care about how others see her. She barely cares about their existence at all.
Morality & Philosophy
She places her own survival first, alongside with that of her family and closest friends. Other people, especially strangers? Olena accepts as true the premise that their lives matter, though she usually cannot bring herself to give it more thought than that.
She values being able to make her own choices the most, everything else coming second. She does not particularly care about her country, about the exact borders of it or about who rules it, it isn't dearer to her than the countries surrounding it. For all that, she believes in peace between them, and is strongly against any war.

Shortly after Olena's birth, it became clear she was one of the Claimants, for the goddess' Nemia service. This did not please her mother much, foreign heathen as she was.
Circumstances of Death
Olena would die, she knew, in the service of the goddess, as was the Fate of all Saints. Olena would, she decided, take the goddess down with her.
