Sconkkamytrer

Sconkkamytrer is an elemental sorcerer in service of the Wooden Shields, who is oft employed as one of their advance scouts. As many Gnomes, he has a long name that he rarely uses, preferring the name Mytrer, or Sconk for friends. Nobody calls him Sconk. Mytrer is a stoic person, quite reserved unless you really get to know him well.   Originally a commoner who already started casting magic at a young age, Mytrer grew up in a border village and occasionally dealt with uppity wildlife. As a teenager, he was discovered by a member of the Wooden Shields. Quickly recruited, he underwent training and grew in rank. Eventually, he became a travelling military scout in both ways of the word, exploring and finding people to recruit.   Part of his duties involves being a circuit judge, riding around on horseback to places that lack strict authority yet are still affiliated or friendly with the Kingdom of Lebon. This includes the occasional active law enforcement when locals dare not handle criminals by themselves.

Skills

Physical
Mytrer wears typical explorer clothing, though made extremely fancy by a tailor. Additionally, he has a lot of patches from places he's been and encounters he has survived. Treating the patches as essentially tattoos for his clothing, they are a memory of where he's been.   Gearwise, he has a shortbow and a dagger, as well as a buckler, just in case he needs them. His horse wears an outfit similar to him, patches and all. Its saddle bags help carry an endless array of useful magical tools, far more than fit in his backpack.
Mental
Considered uncaring and extremely private by some, and simply rather stoic and reserved by others, Mytrer doesn't make friends easily. On the other hand, his tendency to patiently observe makes him an excellent judge.   If he's got a drink in him, he comes out of his shell a bit, though he still rather keeps to himself. But he does care about others, even if he doesn't always show it. And he's very enthousiastic about his job, trying to keep the peace with fervour.
