The greatest battle of the Age of Mortality. Ikki Windfeather unites five Oracles in order to defeat the leaders of the Karavala Sovereignty that have been conquering and destroying the continent of Gleyari. Lasting nearly three days, the battle ultimately ends when Toshinori Yagi, Seventh Oracle of Peace sacrifices himself in a magical blast that destroys the Karavalas and Odr, wounds Sif, and sends Njord, the leader of the Betrayers, back to his domain in Sandalphor.

Otherwise known as Karavala's End, the battle of Sunfall was an era defining battle that took place in the forests of the Karavala Sovereignty. Ikki Windfeather, Ninth Oracle of the Wind , is joined by Yarmin Smalltooth, Second Oracle of Lore (wielding the Greaves of Vaka ), Leonidas Silverhand, Fourth Oracle of Nature , Toshinori Yagi, Seventh Oracle of Peace and his apprentice Molina Montarelli, Eighth Oracle of Peace, and Threaven Wranris, The Oracle of Life in order to defeat Myrthos Karavala, Fourth Oracle of Gravity and leader of the Karavala Sovereignty . On his side: Strahd von Zarovich, The Dread Lord , alive and well in the Material Plane via the Amulet of Vaka , Njord, Arbiter of the Deep and Leader of the Betrayer Gods, Sif, The Abysswalker, and Óðr, Sunscourge (wielding the stolen Staff of Vaka ). The battle was long fought, but ultimately the combined energy of a god, a demigod, four Oracles , three Artifacts of Vaka , and as the convergence of both Alecto and Tisiphone overhead all together fueled a magical event that created the great mountain Græna, ended the lives of Myrthos, Toshinori, and Óðr, and resulted both in Strahd being sealed in Barovia permanently with The Shroud, and Oðr's spirit being sealed inside the now Dormant Staff, which was lost to the wilderness as Njord, defeated, quickly fled towards his domain of Sandalphor. Myrthos' powers passed to a newborn Drow in the city of Khomartum , Essek Theylss, Fifth Oracle of Gravity , and Toshinori's powers passed to his chosen successor, Molina Montarelli, Eighth Oracle of Peace . Hundreds of years after the battle, a mysterious plague why symptoms of a yellow ooze started to blight the land around the mountain. The Ranger Hjallbörn set out on a quest to find a cure, only to return and find his entire village mysteriously missing, with only a wooden staff found in their place.
